The Financial Literacy Colloquium Series at Stanford University aim to serve as a laboratory of ideas and a venue for exchanging new findings, works in progress, and a vision for where the field is headed. We are bringing together people from different schools and departments at Stanford who are engaged in research and projects related to financial literacy, personal finance, household finance, financial wellness, and a range of related topics.

The National Financial Capability Study (NFCS) is an ongoing, multi-year project aimed at monitoring and better understanding financial capability in America. The first wave of NFCS data was collected in 2009, the second in 2012, and the third in 2015. GFLEC and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation co-hosted the release of the 2012 data on May 29, 2013, and the release of the 2015 data on July 12, 2016.
