Release of the National Financial Capability Studies

The National Financial Capability Study (NFCS) is an ongoing, multi-year project aimed at monitoring and better understanding financial capability in America. The first wave of NFCS data was collected in 2009, the second in 2012, and the third in 2015.

GFLEC and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation co-hosted the release of the 2012 data on May 29, 2013, and the release of the 2015 data on July 12, 2016.
