We are happy to announce the start of a Financial Literacy Colloquium Series at Stanford University. The colloquia aim to serve as a laboratory of ideas and a venue for exchanging new findings, works in progress, and a vision for where the field is headed. We are bringing together people from different schools and departments at Stanford who are engaged in research and projects related to financial literacy, personal finance, household finance, financial wellness, and a range of related topics.
Stanford is one of the few universities in the US to have a series dedicated to financial literacy and to offer multiple personal finance courses, providing a solid foundation upon which to build an academic field that is based on rigorous research and excellence in teaching.
